I've been around dogs since birth. Growing up we had Labs and Brittany Spaniels, a very energetic breed, so I am very familiar with "hyper" dogs and they are not a deterrent. I have worked with countless dogs both on and off a leash. My family breeds national champion Brittany Spaniels, one litter at a time (not a puppy farm), including multiple National Kennel Club Hall of Fame Inductees. I have a ton of experience and am very comfortable around puppies and younger dogs as well as older dogs with all sorts of temperaments and unique behaviors. Given that many of these dogs are working dogs, I can easily tell when a dog is under stress and needs water or rest, and vice versa when a dog is ready to run.
