Wonderful from first message to pickup. She was pleasant, friendly, caring, and flexible. Our dog loved staying with her family. We'd be happy to have him stay there again. We have an older dog and this was our first time using Rover, so we were a bit nervous about leaving him with someone unknown for a long weekend and unsure in general what to expect of the service and process. Billie Jo suggested and we had a meet-and-greet with her and our dog early on, before we confirmed our dog's stay. He took to her right away. She asked lots of questions about his preferences and routine as we walked around together. By the end of the meet-and-greet, we felt comfortable with the idea of having her watch him. We then messaged back and forth a bit before dropping our dog off a few weeks later. When we brought him and his supplies, she showed us around where he'd be and asked more questions about his routine so he'd feel at home. She sent us chatty, reassuring notes and cute photos of him throughout his stay with her family. When we picked him up, his things were by the door, ready to go. He was happy to see us but wanted to lead us to some things in her house (presumably his favorite hangout spots). When we paused out front with him to chat with her as we headed to the car, he tried to go back into her house a couple of times :) She has his vote for sure, and ours as well. Billie Jo watched out dog for the first time as our previous sitter moved and she was wonderful. She sent daily updates and pictures and even checked in after we picked him up to make sure he was ok. I am very thankful to have found Billie Jo and will definitely rebook for our next trip.
