I'm a retired, full time dad of an amazing service dog, and advocate for and a trainer of service animals Dogs have always been an important part of my 60 years of life and for the past 35 years of caring for dogs, walking dogs, training dogs, and dog sitting it’s ALL I've done. I am not a 25 year old with 20 years experience. I’m a 60 year old who backs up my experience with certification. I will care for your pooch with the utmost attention and dedication. From the time your pup enters my home until the minute you pick them up they will be with me and under my watchful eye 24 hours a day. Between the backyard playtime, dog parks, and sleeping with your pup, they will be by my side and have the very best 24 hour care and supervision. Special needs and requests are no problem and I'll work with you to make your travels and your pet's stay with us are the best they can be. I am a certified PetTech Instructor (#2035) and can accommodate medically challenged pups during their stay. I have a working relationship with many emergency vets in the area and can accommodate the most challenging cases. We live a short 5 minute drive away from Downtown, Little Italy, Old Town, Mission Valley, Point Loma, Balboa Park, Maple Canyon, and the San Diego Airport. Due to COVID-19, I am not allowing parents to drop off or pick up guests at our home. I am offering free pick up and drop off services within 10 miles for your pup’s stay. I’m willing to pick up and drop off your pup at San Diego Airport when you depart and return home at no charge. My credentials and reputation speaks for itself. Other Rover sitters claim to be first aid, CPR, and medically trained but offer absolutely no verifiable credentials. I am an active member of every reputable dog care organization and am proud of my experience and credentials. Rover takes 15% of every booking made through the Rover website and app. I truly appreciate your tips and work to earn them with every booking. Bil and TheCharlyDog. Dad and Daughter Your pup will spend 24/7 with me and will not be out of my care at any time. I provide 24/7 care. I dedicate my time to my guests. I have a fully fenced in yard, guests are never off leash outside of my house, and are only taken to fenced in dog parks.

Bil is amazing! He took such good care of our pup while we were away for a week. He sent loads of updates and pictures. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in the San Diego area. He goes above and beyond to make both pup and owners feel comfortable.

A typical day
Here's where we'll take our walks: All my guests get a ton of playtime. I visit Dusty Rhodes, Little Italy, and Nate's Point Dog parks several times during the day. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: Your dog will sleep either in my living room or with me in my bedroom unless you request them to be crated at night. I request that my guests provide some form of bedding be it a proper dog bed or just a towel from home. Time I'll spend with your dog: I provide 24 hour supervision and care at all times while they are in my care.
