I grew up with dogs in my household from the age of 3 years old. My furry companions have included: Cocker Spaniel, Samoyed mix, Queensland Heeler and Yellow Lab. (We also hosted the neighbors poodle on occasion...especially during BBQ season). I dog-sit for my landlord a few times a year, when he and his wife are traveling. This has been the most wonderful way for me to spend time with a dog. I spent the last year at Bark and Co., the NYC startup behind "BarkBox" so luckily I got to spend my whole work day surrounded by pups too! Now I'm at NBCUniversal working as a consultant and I have the flexibility to work from home, which means I get to spend time with your doggie all day. My home is quite spacious for a city apartment. We are comfortable with your dog lounging or sleeping wherever he/she wants, even on our bed. We love cuddles and movie nights.
