Your little dog will get all the attention, cuddles, and companionship while you're away. My sweet Suki and I spent 14 years together and we lost her at the end of 2020. I'm finally through the grieving period partly through watching a few other little cuties throughout 2021-22. Now I'm ready to spend more time with sweet little pups (but still not ready to fully commit to being a Full Time Dog Mom again). I'm experienced in caring for dogs who are deaf and/or blind, who have mobility issues and may require special diets or medication.

Bex did an amazing job with our Pom, Teddy. He has some pretty bad separation anxiety (and admittedly, we have separation anxiety from him too!), but within a day I knew Teddy was right at home with Bex. From the daily updates to the detailed doggy journal she provided, we were so at ease leaving our baby with Bex and wouldn’t hesitate to send him for a sleepover again! Thank you Bex!!!!
Bex was a fantastic sitter for our yorkie Teddy!! She sent pictures and updates every day, we appreciate her kindness and taking such great care of Teddy! We'll definitely leave him with her in the future!! Thank you, Bex!!
Toby loved Bex! She is caring and kind and so aware of Toby and his needs/emotions based on his behavior. We were so thankful for her!
Bex was amazing! She took great care of our dog on short notice and was even able & willing to watch her an extra day when our flight got canceled. She sent an update and photo every single day and kept track of all of the dog’s activity while we were gone. Can’t recommend Bex enough!

I like getting very detailed instructions from pet parents so that your dog's routine is as normal as possible. Dogs are allowed on furnitures and bed. They're welcome to sleep and snuggle with me too.

I have cared for dogs with vision, hearing and mobility loss. I don't mind spending extra time preparing special food and giving medications. I prefer hypoallergenic and non shedding breeds - but I'm open to meet anyone!
A typical day
During the day, I love having a constant companion to sit near me as I paint or (on me) as I work on the computer.

Availability
I work from home and make my own schedule so I can stay home with your pup most of the time. When I do head out for a meeting or social time, I am usually not gone for more than 2-4 hours. Part of what I do for work is paint portraits of dogs! I love having a dog nearby as I'm painting and I love getting a reminder to head outside after a while to give me a little break.
