Betzy has been my sitter since July 2021. Not only are her rates more than reasonable, but having Betzy care for my new puppy provided me with peace of mind knowing my Luna was is in good hands while I worked I found Betzy on Roover while searching for a day time pet sitter for my 6 week old puppy, Luna. When I was looking for a sitter, it was important to me that the person I hired would be reliable, able to to provide ongoing weekly pet care, and work with Luna during the day on potty training and basic commands I considered quite a few sitters before finding Betzy and found most were either super expensive for puppy care or were not able to insure availability for repeat weekly bookings or had taken on a lot of dogs already and didn’t seem to be provide my puppy the attention o wanted for her. After a few days of texting and meeting her at her development , I decided to use her because it was easy to see her love for animals and how focused she was on getting to know my Luna and protective she was with other dogs and making sure Lundla was safe and comfortable in her surrounds. She doesn’t take risk with the safety of your pet which is important to me. While Betzy watched my puppy she would inform me about any changes she noticed that day, she would take her for pup cups at Starbucks and spoil her rotten. Also she let you know when you were running low on food, she would work with me on days my work day ran late and reinforce puppy training like basic commands and potty training. First we were given a different location to drop off. She blamed the Rover app and says it happened before, but if you know it happens why not tell us before driving over. We had to pick up our dog after 2 hours because their dog wasn’t getting along with ours. Our dog had scratches/bites all over his belly. I would have hoped that a sitter watches my dog while in their care and stops situations before they escalate to bites/scratches. Our dog met only one of the sitters dogs when we dropped our dog off. They were in their apartment dog park running and getting along. 2 hours later she said she is keeping him on a leash in a different room. We said we would pick him up because why would I keep him on a leash at the sitters. The goal is to get play time, not sit down in a room on a leash. I recommend you read the whole profile for the dog you plan to watch. Ask questions if necessary as well. Our dog is a large high energy and playful dog. All that information is in his profile. If you’re not planning to play and actually watch the dog, then say that when agreeing to the daycare.
