I want to spoil your small fur baby

Pet care experience

Need a sitter who is always available? Here I am and I provide 24/7 care. Dogs are family members here. I will make every effort to provide all the comforts and routine your dog expects at home and more. I've had dogs all my life and I have experience caring for medically fragile and elderly pets, including giving pills and insulin shots. My clientele are toy and small breeds that don't require a lot of exercise. I take only small dogs so that I don't have dogs that intimidate my other small friends. Dogs should be 15 inches tall or less at the shoulder (like the opposite of Disneyland's "must be 4 ft tall to ride this ride" rule lol.) and 20 pounds or under unless you have a very puggy little friend like me. (We're not over weight, we're under tall). I do have other private clients, so I limit Rover clients because of that. I can provide lots of love and attention for your dog, but my flat feet don't allow me to take long walks, so if your dog needs more exercise than they can get running around in a big yard, this probably isn't the best place for your baby. Also high energy dogs are not a good fit because a large part of my clientele is tiny or geriatric and having the young energetic dogs mowing them over or running across them when they're trying to snooze doesn't work. My household consists of 2 adult dog lovers, so someone is home almost without exception. I had two thoroughly spoiled 15 and 16 yr old teacup poodles that I had since they were 15 weeks old. They have crossed the rainbow bridge and I miss them. I love dogs and would love to spoil your fur baby too. I'm available for boarding as well as daycare. I have a large, tightly fenced yard on a quarter acre lot and can care for any smaller dog as long as it isn't destructive or very active. I do require that all dog owners provide a print-out from their vet showing that their dog has been immunized for rabies, distemper, DHPP and especially Bordetella (kennel cough) for your dog's safety and those of others. Also, please be sure your dog is current on flea meds since one flea quickly multiplies to become hundreds of fleas.

Betty was fantastic with our littles while we were out of town. It rained all weekend, and she went above and beyond to ensure they were comfortable and warm. Pups enjoyed her toy collection and "hunting" squirrels in the backyard. Betty sent lots of photos so we were informed of their busy day, which we appreciate since we miss our littles when we're apart. Thanks, Betty for all of your help!!!

I also have crates available if your dog is used to being crated at night, but otherwise dogs are not crated. I have 8 padded beds and lots of fuzzy blankets and toys, as well as bowls and treats. If your dog is used to sleeping with you, it will sleep with me. All you need to provide is their food.

A typical day here is filled with belly rubs and attention. I have a large yard with lots of grass, bushes and interesting smells to explore. There's a big box full of toys for the more active set.
