I personally own 2 Australian Shepards females who are 13 and 2. They are the life of my home. I think it is important to provide the with a routine day to day, it just makes everything run smoothly. I also have a close friend with cocker spaniels, that I get to care for regularly. I love their personality and the way these smaller dogs do not shy away from playing with any dog that they encounter. I think it is important when handeling a dog to be aware of your surroundings and any possible obstinate you may encounter on your outing. Please feel free to communicate your dog's specific needs.
