Pet care experience
The obvious reason, I LOVE DOGS and being around ALL animals . every dog has a unique personality which makes all of them special and all dogs have something different to offer pet lovers. I also love to be outdoors playing and walking them. I walk a lot any way, might as well have a furry companion. I can pretty much set my own schedule (within reason). I also don't have any obligations, other than my husband. I feel like this would feel a void in my life and help give to purpose. I like to use hand commands but verbal is fine also I have been a pet owner for quite sometimes, some very high energy, some old and arthritic and on medication I only perfer smaller dogs if they come to my house. The house is mostly empty, it’s just me and my husband. I have also sat for cats, turtles, lizards and pasture animals.

Betty was punctual and relaxed around our big dogs. It was nice to have her let them out and check their water when we were gone for an extended day trip.
Most happy with Betty's care during the 5 days she cared for my cat. I was a little nervous about leaving Kitty with a sitter and she could no longer go to a boarding facility. Betty was the perfect solution. I would highly recommend her for your pet sitting needs. I hope to user her again when the need arises. Note - all of the subsequent questions refer to dog sitting. Betty actually took care of a cat for me.

A typical day
I do like to walk and be outdoors. I like the comfort that a dog can provide to a human. I like to engage play with the dogs, fetch, tricks, tug of war or just petting them. My neighborhood is pet friendly with lots of trails and a dog parks very close.

I lost my job during COVID, so this is my source of income. My schedule is pretty flexible, except when I travel. I’m at home most holidays.
