I am a dog owner myself and adopted my Rooney from POET Animal Rescue 5 years ago. I really do love dogs and that is why I started volunteering for POET 2 years ago. My boy Rooney is loved so much by the entire family and we are so blessed to have found him and have him in our lives. So while volunteering at the shelter I have been in contact with many different breeds of dogs and also help with administering medications when needed. My availability is quite flexible because I do not have another job so I will have a lot.of time for walking, playing, cuddling, feeding, and just about what ever else might be needed. I'm not afraid to get a little dirty or have lots of fun playing.
