I would prefer to take care of your pet in and around your home, since I have two cats at home and don't like to freak them out. I am also able to transport your pet in my car if you request and condone that, and am comfortable with crating and with special needs pets as long as your instructions are clear and thorough.

I'm pretty open to all personalities, breeds, and sizes of dog as long as you let me know if there's anything special I need to look out for. I've worked in customer service my whole life and anyone I've worked for will tell you that I'm extraordinarily good at figuring out an individual's needs and seeing to them. The same is true for my pet care only I'm even more patient with pets than with humans. If you're aware of particular triggers or danger areas, please let me know and I'll do my best to avoid them.
A typical day
I've found that I can almost always count on dogs to show me where they like to go, and I follow their lead as long as it's safe and they don't act like they're trying to get away with something they're not normally allowed to do. I pay careful attention to their wants and needs. I am a strong walker but I also make sure that dogs get to stop and sniff, since that's important to their sense of wellbeing.

I have lived with and adored dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve worked in grocery stores for over 30 years and have recently left that world (on friendly terms). My favorite parts of the job have always been providing excellent customer service and engaging with the dogs that wait outside . I’ve also been the go-to person for returning lost dogs to their humans. I love to walk. Among my friends and neighbors, I'm the first person they call when they need help with an animal, whether it's a pet or a distressed wild animal.
