Pet care experience
I have been pet sitting for over 10 years and house sitting for about 6 years. I love all animals (well, maybe except snakes but I will also take care of them) In my Rover experience I also had the opportunity of looking after piranhas. If you want your dog to learn a new trick let me know, I'm really good at showing dogs new tricks. I am based in DC, and I also love taking care of plants. You don't have to ask me what plants I can take care of, as long as you explain how you would like me to take care of them, I will. I'm available during your office hours! Do you need me to walk your dog or feed your cat at 10 am!? Yes! I'm the guy for you! Do you need me at 2 PM!? No problem! Do you want me to take your dog for a walk while you're having dinner!? Ring me up! I'm looking forward to fulfill all of your pets and plants needs! I'm currently working from home. So, as long as I can get an internet connection I can spend most of the time with your pets at home. I strive to keep your pets and plants day as close to the regular day they usually have with you. I am an early riser and go to bed fairly well into the night so I can walk a dog super early in the morning or late at night.

Beto is so nice, attentive, and patient with us. Milo is starting to recognize Beto now and be happy to see him! Everything is going very well and we look forward to Beto taking Milo on a solo walk soon
This was our first meet with Beto and he was wonderful! My normally very shy dog was pretty comfortable with him right away, which was so nice to see. Beto also asked a ton of great questions, so he’s obviously very experienced and knew what to look for. Milo and are I excited to set up our weekly walks!
As always, Beto was the absolute best and took great care of our kitty!
Beto is incredible! He is incredibly trustworthy and reliable. My dog loved him (she is a 3.5 year old Golden and a handful on her walks!). I was using him 3 times a week for an hour each time and would keep him forever if my work schedule didn’t change. I have nothing but glowing praise. I never had a dog walker before and was very nervous. He was responsive and thoughtful and always responded quickly. He communicated with me throughout the walk, updates and pictures (as well as the routes they took). I know my girl was safe and happy. We loved getting to know him and have him as part of the family. He will be who I use for all my girl’s needs in the future, no doubt. You’d be lucky to get onto his schedule!

A typical day
I love going to dog parks but if your dog is not friendly with other doggies, we can also go for long walks or a hike if there's a place to do so. I also love playing with cats but I, also, understand that some cats are not the most enthusiastic individuals when it comes to playing but they'll for sure get lots of petting if that something they like.

Availability
On Tuesdays, I have my in-person shift at work from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Sometimes I have the possibility of coming into work late or leaving early but I never know until the day before of the day of. I would be more than glad to visit your pet right after work if I don't have any other previous commitments. If you see a day where I don't have availability for walks or drop-in visits, please send me a request anyways and I can see if I could fit you into my schedule,
