Pet care experience
A few years ago I was looking for an opportunity to work with dogs and life led me to a career running a dog camp for up to 8 dogs a day! I had to be diligent, detail oriented, firm on structure and big on play! We had a lot of fun until I got pregnant with my son and it was no longer beneficial for me to run camp (which my friend now owns!). Ive attended dog workshops, worked with trainers in the area, worked on training with camp dogs and have taken the pet cpr and first aid course. Any dog staying with us would be treated like part of the family! ❤️

We have a home sitting on 20 acres with hundreds of acres of woods and logging roads behind us. We also have a pond for summertime fun! We also treat our yard with wondercide and would treat a pet with it as well provided owners were ok with it (can provide a cut sheet with details) - it is an amazing tick repellent product that we have had lots of luck with. The whole family loves dogs including our 2 year old son. He is expected to learn to give dogs space but it would be best to have a dog that’s comfortable with kids around.

I do have full time jobs however I work from home Thursday’s and could make accommodations on fridays. If a family was comfortable with me being away from home during the day I could be available throughout the week. If they were not a Thursday - Sunday range would be better.
