Pet care experience
I had the pleasure of co-parenting 7 fur-babies (3 dogs, 4 cats) with my best friend for 3 years until she moved out of state (the fur-babies went with her because they had more room than where I was moving). Since then I have jumped at the chance to watch my friends pets when they have gone out of town. I am a cat and dog person, and love to give them all the lovin's. I have administered medicine to both dogs and cats, given them baths, and enjoy going on walks with dogs. I've worked for Rover for over 2 years now and have loved every minute of it.

Bethany was great with my boy, Doak! He’s still very unsure of new people and even though she has watched him before it was some time ago so he was timid and not his usual self. She was very patient with him and gave me detailed daily updates!
Bethany was absolutely great! Stepped in last minute during the holidays and gave our kitties lots of love! Also brought our mail in for us and our garbage bins even though we didn’t even ask for it.

While visiting with your babies I will do everything I can to make them happy. After doing the usual tasks (feeding, walk, litter, etc.), I'll spend the remaining time doing whatever your pet loves the most (playing, receiving pets).

It's good to know whether your dog gets along with other dogs/people while on walks. Also if there's a special harness that is used please be sure to show me when I meet you guys. Any other information that you can share that enables me to give your dog the best time while you're away will also be appreciated.
A typical day
While watching dogs, I take them out to potty first thing (being sure to pick up behind them). Then will give them fresh food and water. And then we'll hang out and play, whether that be in the backyard or just playing with toys inside the house. If they really like walks, I'll make the initial walk take up majority of the drop-in time so they can enjoy the outside.

I have recently accepted a full time teaching position, so am currently only available for drop-ins on weekdays after 4pm, and have open drop-in availability for weekends.
