Howdy! I'm a recent biomedical sciences graduate from Texas A&M University. After graduation I found myself missing Aggieland, so I moved back to work at A&M's Health Science Center. I've lived with dogs my whole life and have been working with animals for many years now. As a pre-veterinary student, I gained lots of experience as a technician intern at veterinary clinics (primarily small animal, but also exotic and equine) and volunteering at animal shelters. I've trained service dogs with Aggie Guide Dogs & Service Dogs and Patriot PAWS, client dogs at a local training facility, and therapy dogs and additional client dogs independently. My work with dogs has inspired me to advance my knowledge on animal training/behavior, and I'm currently pursuing a Professional Animal Trainer certification. I've worked with many different types of dogs before and have always been a dog lover. In the past few years, my roommate's cat has turned me into a cat lover as well! Since I joined Rover in 2017, I've watched many different kinds of animals (from dogs, to cats, to bunnies, to bearded dragons!) with all kinds of personalities and it's been an absolute blast. I love getting to know my Rover animals and make them feel comfortable and at home while their parents are gone. Additionally, I've cared for many senior and special needs animals and have lots of experience administering different types of medications. If you'd like somebody experienced to keep your fur babies happy and safe, I'm the sitter for you!
