In my private business I teach basic obedience and work with animals that have behavioral issues, in addition to providing pet sitting/care. I've had pets my entire life. My folks raised Great Danes & Throughbred horses. Our home was always open to stray animals. I've worked for places like PetSmart, a private doggie Spa, boarding stables, obedience centers & shelters. I also have experience in Pet first aid. I require that any animals I care for be up to date on their vaccinations. And, that a meet & greet be done with all new clients before I will confirm any type of booking request. I also require a reacquaint meeting with any repeat clients whom I haven’t cared for in 1 calendar years time. I primarily don’t care for clients animals in my own home. Let’s face it, your pet is going to be a bit stressed/ anxious with you not around. Why add more stress by placing them in an unfamiliar environment with other unfamiliar animals? *** As of February 1st, 2019 there will be an additional mileage/ travel charge for clients who are located outside of a 15 mile radius of my home. This charge will be modified (added) to your total cost. It is charged at $1.00 per mile over 15 miles & will be charged at the difference of 1 round trip. Example; If you are located 5 miles past the radius you will be charged 10.00. ***
