Pet care experience
Have completed a degree in canine training and behaviour so i have vast knowledge of all things dog. I have had 5 years experience working with high prey drive greyhounds and dog reactive lurchers. I am open to walking dogs who are reactive as long as they are muzzle trained for mine and others safety. I can help with muzzle training but will not take them out untill they are comfortable with it on. Working with different types of dogs will help me to improve on my training. As i would like to be a behaviourist in the future i can also offer some advice to owners about behavioual issues, but as i have limited practical experience it can only be guidance not a solution. I also have experience with reptiles, I have geckos of my own and have completed a college course in animal management where I worked with reptiles regularly. I would be willing to offer drop in visits for reptile care after 5 pm any day of the week.

In the first instance we would need to schedule a meet and great in your home so I can meet you and your animals. In order for me to plan appropriate walks or activities i will need to know some information about your animals and your needs.
A typical day
I will take dogs on interesting walks through wooded areas, fields or parks. If your dogs are toy motivated i will play fetch or tug with them. If your dogs are food motivated i will bury treats in grass or leaves and allow them to forage. This is a really good way to distract reactive dogs. If you would like i can also do some light training with them.

Availability
I am currently in a full time job so I am only doing dog walks and drop ins on Thursdays and Fridays at the moment. My goal is to be able to start my own business full time. I can however do reptile drop ins after my full time job ends at 5pm so if you are going away on holiday and need someone to pop in and care your reptile collection send me a message or email.
