I worked for several years as a full-time dog walker/pet sitter in Denver, CO, and also worked as a caregiver/trainer at Stray Rescue of St. Louis. In these jobs, I saw it all (!) and gained valuable experience in dealing with animal situations of all sorts. I have a degree in journalism and am working on furthering my education while doing work in the restaurant industry. But my REAL passion is dogs! Working with dogs brings me so much joy that I could never give it up! I'm also a cat-lover, and have much experience taking care of reptiles. I have a natural connection to and rapport with pets of all kinds. They sense my gentle, loving spirit and tend to put their trust in me quickly. You can rest assured when you're away from home that your pet will be well-loved and taken care of. I'll listen to your special care instructions and make sure to carry them out to a tee, whether they're related to medical issues, training, or enrichment. I'll be as communicative as you want me to be during your time away, with phone calls, texts, photos, and emails, as you request, and always a full written report for you to read when you return. I'm also willing to do small household tasks like watering plants and checking mail. Just ask!
