I’ll love your pets like my own!
Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Beth, I’m a huge animal lover with a lifetime of experience working with various animals. I’ve moved back to Boston after five years in DC, and I’m so excited to finally get to return to Rover! I’m also looking for Rover opportunities in New York, as I need to be there for work frequently. I grew up with and have pet-sat all types of pets, I horseback rode and worked at multiple barns, and I studied Biology at Boston College in hopes of pursuing a career in wildlife conservation. I have also interned at a wildlife rehabilitation center as well as a veterinary health company. I know not only how to care for your pets, but love them too. And honestly, I’m unable to have pets of my own, so you’d be doing me a favor by letting me spend time with yours! Contact me today so we can talk more about what you’re looking for, and decide if I’m a good fit. I look forward to speaking with you!
Reviews
Beth agreed to watch my 3 large dogs on very short notice. We were able to agree on a time to meet them before I left on my getaway as one of my dogs is weary of strangers. She met the dogs and within 1 minute literally had them eating out of her hand. I left for my trip, Beth made sure I got pictures and reports regularly. I recommend Beth without hesitation, She was great.
I am so glad we found Beth! She is wonderful to work with, and my dogs love her. I highly recommend her to anyone and will hire her again very soon.
Beth is awesome! She was great to work with and took excellent care of my two cats. I would absolutely recommend her!
Beth is an active and very warm dog person. She was enthusiastic and caring with our dog Enzo. We look forward to using her again.

Safety, trust & environment
I like to follow your typical routine so that your pet experiences as little disruption as possible. I also like to ask about their personality and likes/dislikes; some pets like to be cuddled, some don’t. Some pets like interaction with other pets, some don’t. I try to personalize the experience as much as possible!
Information Beth P. would like to know about your pet
My family has had many dogs with a range of personalities and backgrounds, so I’m used to dealing with dogs with behavioral difficulties. If your dog doesn’t like other dogs, doesn’t like people, is fearful of loud noises, etc., that’s something I’d want to know so that I can avoid those situations and keep your dog as comfortable as possible. I also like to ask how affectionate your dog is so that I know whether I should give them their space, or give them all the cuddles!
A typical day
I think physical and mental stimulation are equally important, so on top of taking them for walks, I like to ask if your dog knows any tricks or if you’re currently working on training them. If you are open to it and your dog likes being around other dogs, I also like to take them to parks!
Services

Availability
I’m currently working from home, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m available for walks and drop ins all day long, so I can keep your pet on their usual schedule.
