Pet care experience
We are a retired couple who are petless for the first time in 41 years. We travel quite often so we aren't interested in getting another pet of our own (yet), so we are VERY interested in borrowing yours!! We've had three Labradors; one of each color... Thunder (black female, 8 1/2 years), Dakota (yellow female 13 1/2 years), and we just lost our Chudleigh (chocolate female, 12 1/2 years). We have a large home with just the two of us, so no children to worry about. We are out in the boondocks in 4.5 acres, and we abutt up to 750 acres of a wildlife sanctuary, with extensive trails to run. We have a large pond in our backyard that our Lab's loved to swim in.

I was extremely comfortable having Beth and Larry take care of my sweet dog, Billie Jean. We visited twice before deciding that this would be a great place for her to stay while we were on vacation. Beth sent many pictures and assured me she was doing well and I felt very very happy that both Beth and her husband Larry and my sweetie Billy Jean were all having fun together. I highly recommend them as a pet sitter and I would be thrilled to use them anytime I need them. Thank you Beth and Larry for taking good care of my 3 1/2 year old Shih Tzu. Billie Jean.
Our seven year old Vizsla mix, Diva, is a rescue dog who's very sweet and well-behaved. But she turns into a little terror when she gets near other animals - probably due to her having spent her first six years in shelters. In any case, it's been a real challenge trying to find a boarding situation where there were no other dogs or cats present, as the overwhelming majority of boarders on Rover.Com have pets of their own. So needless to say, we were very pleased to find Beth and Larry, who live nearby and have no pets of their own. Unfortunately, when we brought Diva to their home for a Meet & Greet,
