My code is: bethg70946 FALL UPDATE 2022: Due to my children being back in school I will no longer be taking on overnight housesitting gigs for the 2022-23 school year. All currently booked gigs will still be honored of course! If you are looking for someone who will just drop in on your pet several times a day without an overnight stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out and we can plan accordingly! ABOUT ME! I’ve had a passion for animals since I was a child as we always had dogs or cats in our home. I’ve had pets of my own for my entire adult life, including my current 2 cats & 2 dogs (& even 3 pet snails). I give my pets the very best care and love and will do the same for yours, knowing how much our fur babies mean to us! I’m familiar with senior care as I’ve had all of my pets for the entirety of their lives. I currently have 1 senior, a 15 year old blind doggo, Lulu! I’m also familiar with basic puppy training & techniques & will happily reinforce any training you’re currently working on. I believe in positive training techniques and am also familiar with crate training! I give lots of treats! I happily provide updates & photos as requested while your pet is in my care and will spend plenty of time with them rather than just doing the bare minimum. IMPORTANT NOTES: I do not offer services in my own home. All services I provide will take place in your home. I will not be bringing any of my pets with me so your dog/cat will have my full attention. HOUSE SITTING: (for overnight requests) Please note that my fee is $85 per 24 hours for the first pet - cat or dog. This is my base housesitting rate based on one pet only (includes my travel costs). For each additional dog I charge $15 daily, and for each additional cat I charge $5 daily. My holiday rate is $100 per 24 hours as a base fee, but my rates for additional pets remain the same ($15 per extra dog, $5 per extra cat). During the day, I will visit your furbabies every 2-4 hours for 30 minutes to an hour at a time. Basically enough time for play, potty, short walks and lots of love and attention! DROP-IN VISITS: My drop in visits start at $25 for a 30 minute drop in for one pet. My goal is to leave your pet happy so we’ll do lots of play or cuddles and potty breaks as well as the occasional walk to burn off energy. If you’re looking for multiple drop ins (3+) over the course of a day you might want to consider my housesitting fee instead. DOG WALKING: My normal rate is $25 for the first dog and $5 for each additional dog. My holiday rate is $30 for the first dog, with additional dogs remaining at $5 each. I work with your dog on basic leash training during my walks using organic grain-free peanut butter training treats. If your dog has allergies, please let me know! I also make it a point to ask at our meet & greet! These prices reflect my time, gas and the energy I put into each of my bookings. Your pet is my #1 priority during these bookings. While I won’t be taking pets into my home to limit stress on my own babies, I do have a fenced in yard and own my home so I can certainly take in a pet on an emergency care basis. MEET & GREET: I typically spend about 30 minutes at our meet & greet. I prefer that these take place in your home so I can get a good feel for your pet(s) and all their fun quirks in the environment where they're most comfortable. No question is too silly for me and I love a spoiled pet so don’t hesitate to tell me anything you think I should know!
