Pet care experience
All of my life, I have owned dogs, so I have a lifetime of experience with caring for them. I lost my soul dog, Abby, over the summer and miss her dearly. So...I have a lot of love to give to pass on to yours! I'm a very active individual, so I can take your dogs running with me, if their health allows. I can also give them lots of attention and exercise in my 1-acre yard or take them walking on the nearby rail trail if they need to drain some energy. I also have plenty of experience with senior dogs and know that it’s sometimes best just to lounge around! On a more serious note, I am an extremely responsible individual, and I will take this job very seriously. I am primarily looking on Rover so that I can spend time with dogs because I genuinely love them and miss having my angel in my life. You can be sure that your dogs will be safe and loved when they are in my care! All in all, I'm very flexible and easy-going, so scheduling should be a smooth process. Beth did a great job with Phoebe. When we did a meet-and-greet, Phoebe instantly gravitated towards Beth (which is rare for her to be affectionate to someone she just met). Beth was always responsive to questions and sent me updates/pictures everyday while I was gone. Also, my apartment was tidy when I came back. I would use Beth again and recommend her to friends.
Beth was great! She saved us after a last minute change in plans for a lengthy house-sitting stay. She is very responsible and communicative - it really made me feel much better leaving my dogs for such a long time period knowing she would be there with them. Thank you!
Beth was awesome! Our pup is new to the dog walking scene and very shy with new humans, which means she requires above average attention. Beth went out of her way to get to know Bash and her routine/walking style. We felt like Bash was in great hands and will rebook with Beth again in the future!

I'd love to know size, age, and breed! I'll need to know your dog's food and potty routines, as well. After owning large dogs, I feel that I am more than capable of caring for dogs of all sizes. I have also raised three puppies, so I am very familiar with the extra care and supervision required with puppies. In addition, I have cared for older dogs who are less mobile and have disabilities. Basically, I'm good with any kinds of dogs - big/small, old/young - and I'll love every single one the same! :)
A typical day
Depending on the activity-level of your dog, I'd be more than happy to take your pup for a run or just sit with them around the house. I understand the importance of companionship, and I will definitely be a loving companion for your dog. I'm also familiar with many nice parks around the area and have a rail trail practically down the street, so we can visit them if you feel comfortable with it!

Availability
I work as a biomedical engineer and frequently travel during the week for clinical research. However, my weekends are largely free, and there's no better way to spend a weekend than caring for dogs.
