I have been working with animals for over 15 years and truly love it. I believe it's important to get to know each pet's personality and individual needs and to be consistent with providing love and affection along with their basic care. About this sitter: I'm a lover of all animals with over 15 years of experience working with dogs, cats, small mammals and reptiles. I have worked in a Doggie Daycare environment, volunteered in shelters, fostered dogs and provided pet sitting and dog walking services. I'm very comfortable with all sizes of dogs as well as cats, fish and reptiles. I provide dog walking services as well as trips to the dog park and playtime in your yard upon request for drop in visits. I work from home so when I'm boarding dogs they get a lot of attention throughout the day and evening! The most important thing for me as a care provider is to minimize the stress on the pets and the owners. There are many things that can be done to avoid a traumatic experience when you are away. Many traditional kennels try to offer comforts of home, but there is only so much they can do in a large caged environment. I will provide your pet with love and care and do everything possible to reduce their stress. I will follow your rules for furniture, sleeping location, treats, manners and crate training. I think that by reinforcing what your pet is already used to it helps to minimize stress and confusion. Why I love dog sitting I have a true love for animals and find it's important to surround myself with these wonderful creatures as much as possible! Taking care of animals has been important my entire life. I like to help them feel safe and secure while their families are away because they deserve that. I have learned so much from animals and their unconditional love! I have been a vegetarian for over 12 years because of the impact that animals have on my life. I just can't imagine life without them! My experience administering medication I have administered medication to many pets and I'm happy to do it for your pet as well. I will need to meet with you prior to go over details and discuss the method that your dog is used to at home. For my home boarding I offer a very pet-friendly environment where your pet(s) will be the only guests. I will offer the same comforts of home and follow your guidelines for care.
