Pet care experience
I grew up around dogs. As I got older I started volunteering at Forsyth Humane Society. I have been fostering for over 10 years. I volunteer with UNchain Winston, a local nonprofit that provides free fences for dogs that spend majority, if not all their time outside. I’m currently a foster with Stepping Stones Canine Rescue a local nonprofit as well. I have experience with most breeds, big, medium, and small. Bonding with the dog takes time however I’m willing to be patient and let them come to me, on their terms. Building trust is essential to having a healthy relationship with a dog. All dogs are kept in crates while they eat, at bedtime, and while I'm away. I have experience with a variety of behavioral issues such as resource guarding, anxiety, among others.

This was our dog’s second weekend stay with Elisabeth and it was another great experience! We look forward to continuing to use her for our dog’s care when we travel. Thanks again! Our dog can’t wait to come back! :)

Elisabeth is awesome! Our dog had a great experience and looks forward to going back again next week. We’re so happy that we found a great, local sitter to take care of our dog. She sent us updates and photos and our dog came home very happy! Thanks again for everything. We look forward to using your services many times in the future. 🐕

Beth has helped so much with my pups energy when I’m at work! Love reading the rover cards when I get off of work and knowing he’s in great hands when shes coming over to play with him!

Rover newby here so everything was last minute but Beth was so accommodating and understanding. Woody took right up with her loving nature and made besties with Dodge and the others. She kept me informed all week and she was very quick in responding if I had a question. Definitely recommend. Thank you so much Beth. Woody will be back.

I will care for any dog as if it is my own. All dogs are crated while I am gone and at night for their own safety. Treats and bones are only given while under supervision. If my dogs could talk they would tell you they are obsessed with me and are spoiled rotten. Dogs will always be leashed unless in a completely fenced in yard. I use positive reinforcement and encourage good behavior. We also use commands in my house. If dogs do not do well together they will be kept separate from one another to ensure safety for everyone.

Information Beth C. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know the following: how much food they will need (if applicable). If they are good with other animals such as small and large dogs. If there are behavioral issues such as resource guarding or any type of stress they may encounter while you are gone so I can adapt to their needs. All animals must be up to date on core vaccinations and currently on flea and tick prevention before I am able to board them.
A typical day
The dogs in my care have a blast! I have two dogs of my own and a foster dog (or two), so there is plenty of entertainment for everyone. The dogs have the opportunity to rest all day, play in the fenced yard, or run around in the basement when it's raining. I always try to keep them occupied or they tend to get bored and destructive. I'm an avid fan of providing treats for good behavior! I also attempt to teach them simple commands, sometimes it just depends on the dog. :-)

Availability
I have been working from home since COVID so my work schedule is very flexible. I enjoy spending time with my dogs and fosters while working. It keeps us all busy! We get up bright and early, have breakfast, then play time, and then everyone takes a good ol' nap. :-) Throughout the day the dogs have the opportunity to play in the yard and experience the great outdoors!
