We'd love to have a dog ourselves, and have had two dogs in our 32 years marriage. However, right now we like the flexibility of being able to travel when we want. We have no children at home and we enjoy walking each evening. We even borrow my sister's dog most evenings to walk with us. My husband works from home, and would be willing to let a dog out during the day, too. I work close to home and have an hour lunch, so I can let your dog out/take it for a walk around noon. In addition, I am off work at 3:30. If you need someone to walk, feed or check on your dog so you can extend your day, I'd love to help.
