Pet care experience
My first recollections are of hanging on to our German Shepard when I was just a toddler. We had pets of all kinds growing up and I both love and respect animals, and have a deep understanding regarding the impact they have on our well-being. I also know what it is to love a fur-baby and not be able to convey the depth of that feeling to others - In other words, I get it. It is difficult to trust your pet's care to another. I am also a foster mama for the Humane Society and have just fostered bottle kittens #'s 19-20! I'm happy to care for your babies and mine! I want pet parents to feel secure and be able to enjoy themselves if they are away on a trip, or be able to focus without being distracted by worries - It's what I would want. In fact, having hired people to care for my animals, I have very clear ideas about expectations.

Beth is great! So comfortable and tolerant of our puppy with all his puppy behaviors. She kept me informed of all of their activities and loved on our puppy so well! He was a happy boy when we came home!
Beth is awesome! We were visiting in her town and she came to our motorhome to walk our dog so that we could spend the day away. I wouldn't hesitate to call her again should we visit again. Our blind dog was well cared for. She understands the special needs of a blind dog. Call her she's great.

I always ask my clients their house rules and requirement's for their pets then use that framework for activities. It is very important that clients communicate their expectations so that I can give each pet a personalized experience. Their safety is my priority because as a pet parent myself I know what it is to trust someone with an animal you love and cherish.
Information Beth B. would like to know about your pet
I definitely want people to be upfront with me about their temperament. I have no fear of dogs large or small, but I need honesty from the owners regarding things that startle or upset their pets as well as the things that make them feel safe. Are they soft dogs that tremble at a harsh tone or do I need to get my mom voice out? Remove the unknowns and it's much easier to form a respectful bond with the pet and the owner.
A typical day
Runs, walks, snuggles, pets, l and games. I love taking pictures of the pets for their people and have had some turn out so well they are worth framing. I tailor the activities to the pet based on their physical and emotional needs, and what their person wants so it varies from pet to pet. One dog might want a one mile run and another just to sack out in the sun getting belly rubs. One cat might want to chase a toy through the house and another just stare at me for a while. I do my best to meet them where they without disrupting their routine.

Availability
MFA student and runner. Pet care and running are what get me away from the laptop and the grind of school and restore me. I really like running in the evening and it's not unusual for me to be bundling up to get out for a run between 8 and 10. I would love to have some big active dogs that need some energy release before bed time. Depending on their location, I can get them on foot or by car, give them a good 30 - 45 minute run and deliver them back ready to settle down.i run in all kinds of weather and if a pup is appropriately prepared with any outerwear, booties necessary, they can come too. Not all dogs need that, but I will be deferring to their person for that but also my experience and background. I will never put an animal at risk.
