Growing up with dogs gave me true appreciation of how important a dog can be as a family member. I recently completed a veterinary assistant program for the purpose of learning more about animal care. I have been a nurse for the last 26 years and am transitioning into the veterinarial profession as my primary source of income. My plan is to further my studies by completing dog obediance/ behavior training in order to improve my skills and be more effective at what I love to do. By not only growing up with dogs but currently volunteering at a local shelter, I have gained valuable experience with dog handling. I am available in assisting anyone interested in my ability and compassion to spend time doing what I am most passionate about.
