Pet care experience
Hello! Nice to meet you! I have 12 years of professional pet care experience that includes providing services in clients' homes, boarding dogs in my own home, and working at a doggie daycare. All three experiences taught me a lot of about pet safety, pet comfort, and managing appropriate play! I have also been fostering dogs for 10 years and am skilled at assessing dogs' needs and adapting my home and care style to meet them. I have been a positive reinforcement trainer for 3 years, receiving my first certification from the Victoria Stilwell Academy in 2017. I am currently working on my Karen Pryor Academy certification as well. In the last few years I have worked with puppies, general obedience, reactivity, leash walking and much more! I would be happy to chat more with you about your dogs' needs!

Beth has cared for our dog many times! I know that when I leave him in her hands, he is well taken care of. He is a very particular dog who requires a lot of patience. Beth has a wealth of knowledge in animal behavior and truly listens to your animal to make sure they are comfortable. Her property is beautiful and has plenty of space for dogs to enjoy exercise during their stay. It is nice to know that when we are on vacation, so is our dog!

I have no breed preferences or size preferences. I do have 2 cats, 3 dogs, and a toddler. My house is set up to be able to keep everyone separated for safety if necessary however if a dog has general discomfort with cats or small children my home would not be a great fit. It would be helpful to know the average day for your pet, how they feel about other animals and children when inquiring!
A typical day
I am currently on about 7 acres of land. We have a fenced backyard and 2 horse paddocks that we use to run, walk, play fetch etc. We are a more rural area so no sidewalks for walking, but we do use a our long driveway for pups that enjoy a stroll. I have flexible schedule so am often home during the day. When we have canine guests I sleep with them in the spare bedroom so they are comfortable. We have crates available for dogs who need them as well so pet parents don't have to lug them around!
