Started to rescue animals in 2008, we've been fortunate to share our home with 7 rescued fur babies. Animals offer an abundance of unconditional love and joy to our lives. If there is a way for me to help them to continue to give that love, I'm all in. Whether it be spending time with them on a walk, hanging out inside or giving yard time for exercise, administering medications (topical, oral, fluids, injections), cuddle time, scratches, brushes, meals, transporting to and from vet or groomer or whatever their needs may be, I am there to help. Pet sitting for friends and family here and there in the beginning and decided to offer this service professionally. I currently work for the largest local pet sitting company in Sacramento. It's my honor to care for pets by keeping them happy and safe while in my care.?

Bess is a wonderful sitter! She cares about your animal and it’s needs. She’s attentive and thorough. She’s taken care of my two pups and they just love her. One of my dogs is “special needs” and I trust her while I’m away and don’t worry about a thing. I know my pups are in good hands.
Bess is awesome! She took excellent care of our dog Aspen when we took a couple of extended day trips. She sent us great pictures of Aspen and took her on long walks. What a huge relief to have someone who you can rely on when you are away and who loves dogs (and our dog too)!
First of all Bess respects our animal care requests. Bess is loving and dedicated to the animals needs. Her ability to “ read” the animal,in her care, is what makes her a “care giver extrodinaire”. Bess is respectful of your home and your needs. She enjoys documenting ,by photos, the time spent with your pet. This gives ME comfort by seeing my pet while I’m not with him. My dog is older so having a patient and loving pet sitter is extremely important. We’ve asked Bess to care for our dog for “extended” times and just a pottie drop by. She is up for it all. We would recommend Bess to anyone who loves their animals.

Age and how they get along with other animals, are there certain things that frighten them - such as bicycles, men, women, cars, etc. Are they on a special diet, do they have allergies to certain foods, do they have to take certain medicines? If so, when do they have be administered; before meals, after meal, while eating (insulin). Have they had any training?
A typical day
Depending on their needs - go for a walk around the neighborhood or to the dog park to play ball or just to run around with them to get some good exercise.
