God gave us DOG. There is nothing more amazing than the unconditional love from a family pet. I was born into a house of cat and dog lovers and have spent the last 43 years of my 44 years in this world with a cat or dog best friend right by my side. My experience as a pet owner and primary care provider spans 20 years and includes raising and caring for Kiki 13 (cat) and Cosmo 15 (patterdale terrier) from birth to death. I recently adopted a 4 month old energetic terrier mix named Max who brings our family unending joy, daily excitement, and inspired me to become part of the Rover community. Working from home and having kids who are grown has allowed me the flexibility to extend this love and care to your 4 legged best friends. I know first hand that there are times in life where kids, jobs, physical limitations, can keep you from being able to spend that needed time walking, petting, or playing with your beloved best friend. I want to be there for them when you can't be! I enjoy running/walking and being outdoors in any weather. It would be my pleasure to take your four legged senior or special needs friend for a stroller walk in Memorial Park, or we could take your energetic sprinter for few miles of running on the Greenway. Being there and caring for two senior pets taught me the patience and dedication needed to handle special physical/mental needs and I will deliver that same level quality love to your family members. I am also no stranger to the special attention and consistency needed for your pets in the early stages of life. I am experienced in basic potty, basic commands, and standard leash training. I would love to help your young friend hone his/her skills in any of these areas during our walks or playtime during drop ins.
