Hello! My name is Beryl, I'm 28 and from Montclair, NJ but I've been living here in L.A. for about a year and a half! I have a bachelors in French and Music, and an MFA in Film Scoring. I took a long break over the pandemic from Rover, but now I'm back and excited to meet you and your pet family! I've had dogs since I was 3 years old, but no longer have a pet of my own at the moment. Which is why working with dogs is perfect for me! It brings me so much joy to be with animals, especially dogs, and am looking for part-time opportunities to surround myself with animals because it makes me happy and I love them! I've been a dogsitter/walker with Rover in several states (New York, Illinois, New Jersey) as well as in Paris, France! I have tons of experience with animals with all different types of needs. I can administer medications, and even know how to use a doggy inhaler! Please let me know if your pet has any special needs, I'm more than happy to help!

I can board your pet on weekends Friday-Monday, but must have them back at your place by 3pm Monday. I’m more than happy to stay at your's if needed too. I have stayed in many clients' homes over the years, including clients here on Rover. Animals thrive on routine, so I like to keep your pet's routine as close to the routine you have with them as possible. They will get plenty of love and attention from me!

Please let me know if your dog has food aggression, or any other types of aggression (does not like to be picked up, does not get along with children, men, or other dogs/cats). I do not have any breed preferences. I love all dogs!
A typical day
Together, (depending on your dog's personality and physical abilities) your dog and I can go to one of my favorite places: the park! Older dogs with less energy will benefit from a patient dog walker who will take it one step at a time. Dogs with a lot of energy can come running with me if that's something they're used to doing. Playing fetch and tug of war are also encouraged.

Availability
I work part time as an assistant (1-2 days a week, with a great deal of flexibility where I can come and go as I please). I also teach piano lessons between 3-7pm. So I am generally available before 3pm and after 7pm on weekdays and any time on weekends.
