Pet care experience
Our family loves dogs. I can take care of dogs that are up to 25 lbs. We like giving lots of love and attention to our furry guests and enjoy playing in the backyard with them. Our 7 year old dog Chess is the sweetest host and has the best time when we have doggie friends over to play with and run around. I work from home so I’m always there to give them attention and lots of belly scratches. In the afternoons your dog will experience a full house with three older children who love to play and cuddle with our furry friends. Being a dog “mommy” myself I understand how important it is to make sure our puppies are well taken care off while we are out of town. Not only taking care of their basic needs, but making sure they get extra love while their humans are away. I like documenting your doggie stay with pictures and videos, and send them to you every day. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry baby soon!

Bertha is my favorite sitter and I’m sad when she isn’t available to watch our new puppy, Bali. Bertha watched our previous dog, Luna and took such great care of her, even when she was in diapers at 16 years old and on 3 medications. Bertha keeps a very clean home and our babies always return happy, healthy and clean.
This box doesn't provide enough space to share how incredibly pleased I was with Bertha!! 10 out of 10 & more if I was permitted to go higher!! She & her family were beyond attentive & so loving!! I received photos & videos & text msgs, which made the time away from my fur baby more than manageable!! You could not go wrong selecting her, you will not be disappointed!! Took great care of our beagle dog Oreo, my dog seems to be so happy and felt like home at Bertha’s place. We missed Oreo a lot but Bertha sends lot of pictures of Oreo during her stay in which she seems to be so happy and enjoying her stay with Chess, Bertha and her family members
Teddy had a great time staying with Bertha. He got tons of love and attention. Bertha sent us pics and videos frequently. We were stress free on our trip knowing Teddy was in good hands. Thank you Bertha!!

I work from home so I have the flexibility to pay extra attention to our doggie guests. Our backyard is fenced. We never open the front door to avoid the dogs to accidentally getting out. To get in out out of the house we go thought laundry room, close the door, then open the door that goes to the garage. We take care of one dog at a time (or 2 from the same family). I always separate the dogs during feeding time.

I like to know if they are anxious or scared of anything, such as storms. I always ask where they sleep. We don’t allow dogs in our bed. However, If the doggie is used to sleeping on the owner’s bed, I usually sleep on the couch so they don’t feel lonely. I also like to know how many times a day they are fed and if they need any medication (including vitamins/probiotics)
A typical day
We love to play catch in the backyard. I let them nap on my lap or next to me while I am working. We take walks either early morning or at sunset.
