My fiancé and I have each had dogs in the home since we were kids and share a passion for pup parenting. With dogs of our own, two playful and sweet gals of very different sizes, believe me, we’ve seen it all. Whether your dog is big or small, shy or outgoing, perhaps even a puppy, we’d be happy to welcome them into our home! We understand that leaving your pup, whether for the first time or the 10th, is hard. Let our helicopter pup parenting put you at ease that your little guy or girl will receive the most love, patience and attention possible in our care.

We have a fenced yard but do not allow the dogs to be outside without supervision. We also have two playful, friendly dogs who love to make friends! As previously stated, we often find ourselves in helicopter pup parent mode, but that’s only to ensure the dogs are safe at all times.

Is you dog apprehensive around other dogs? We’d also like to know how much exercise your pet needs, do they have any dietary restrictions when it comes to treats, and how are they when left alone.
A typical day
We love walks in Cherokee Park, which is very close to our home. We also have plenty of space and toys in the backyard. Our dogs love to play, so there’s no shortage of that in our household.

Availability
My fiancé and I are on opposite schedules, so someone is always home to oversee the animals during the work week. Our schedules vary on the weekends, but we would prioritize spending extra time with the animals in our care and can make adjustments, as needed. Either way, the dogs wouldn’t go more than a few hours without someone in the home. Our space is also outfitted with pet cameras that include bark detection, which we check often when we’re away.
