Working dog owner and trainer.
Pet care experience
Lifetime dog owner, and working/sporting dog trainer for hunting and ranch work. Currently working on my master’s in Geology. In my spare time I cave, hike, travel and explore nature, particularly where rocks happen to be. I include my Australian Shepherds in every possible activity I can and take great pride in behavioral and functional training in my dogs. Although my ranch (working) and sporting training is on hold until I complete my masters thesis, I continually employ my training skills toward behavior enhancement, home security and functional training such as opening and closing doors and beverage retrieval. I take great pride in having the best behaved dogs wherever my wife and I travel and tirelessly work with our dogs. I also believe in the importance of emotional bonding with animals and developing trust to build upon a foundation of great dogs and great behavior.
Reviews
Bernie is literally a dog whisperer! All dogs he meets love him and there is an instant connection with respect of one other. I highly recommend him for dog sitting or any dog care needs!

Behaviors, any triggers or instances that might make them unreasonable to verbal commands. Does your dog like to chase things? Does your dog listen well or get distracted by smells, noises or anything in particular? Does it get along well with other dogs? Does it like male or female dogs?
A typical day
Most often we visit creeks and parks for frisbee and ball fetching, occasionally lakes if I determine safe aquatic conditions.
