Hello! I'm Bernadette and I've been taking care of dogs all my life. As a former pet shop owner and professional pet sitter for over 30 years, I have plenty of experience with all sorts of pets (from horses to mice) - mostly dogs. My house is conveniently located near the Graton town center for people in West Sonoma County, CA. Puppies and older dogs are welcome! I only have room for small dogs up to 15lbs with occasional exceptions. My 8 and 10 year-old grandsons sometimes stay with me after school, so I can only take kid-friendly dogs (they are both very good with dogs). Unfortunately I can't take barkers, because it wouldn't be fair to my close neighbors. Your friendly and quiet little dogs are welcome to hang out with my two sweet little dogs overnight, or just for a few hours. They will have access to a fenced yard for plenty of exercise - or I will let them out at least every couple of hours during the day. Overnight rates are for a 24 hour day/night. Since I work from home, I am almost always right there with your dog. So I can usually take care of any special needs your dog may have. I am home most of the time and my two little dogs are very friendly, so your dog will have plenty of company. Everyone in my household loves dogs and they always get lots of attention. I have a fenced yard and I watch the dogs when they are outside. We take walks when the weather is nice and throw toys if they like to fetch. Most dogs feel right at home after a couple of hours. I highly recommend bringing their own beds if they will stay overnight to make them feel more at home.
