As a dog lover, I have a gentle touch and firm command. I have always lived with and taken care of 3 or 4 dogs of varying size, breed, and age. Additionally, I have house/dog sat for friends and family who travel out of town, so I am confident in my ability to take care of any dog including walking them, giving them prescribed medication, and all the nuisances in between that owners worry about when letting someone care for their beloved friends. Now that I'm in college, I don't have pets but I would still like to work with dogs. In the past, I have volunteered at animals shelters cleaning kennels, exercising dogs, and providing the right amount of attention to each dog. My schedule is fairly flexible, however I do have classes that I must work around.
