I grew up in a house full of many small pets: dogs, cats, hamsters, lizards, ferrets etc. I got my first dog at the age of 10. Her name was Dinky and I fed, bathed, groomed and walked her. I have owned dogs ever since and cats most of my life. I have gone through basic dog training courses with two of my dogs and have a solid understanding of helping dogs to feel comfortable with me. For the past 7 years I have done both fostering and dog sitting in our home. I look forward to spending time with your fur baby and making them feel loved and cared for. I recently retired from a 35 year corporate career and I am excited to have many of my days and nights available for the care of your pet. I am an early riser and I love the outdoors so I am available from early morning on. We have a 12 year old female border collie named Meg and she gets along great with other dogs. We live in a community with no fencing so your fur baby will always be leashed and walked for potty breaks and outdoor play time. Since I am home full time your dog will have company most of the time. We have space for crating any dog that is trained for crating if that is your preference. When I care for your pet in your home you can expect for your pet to get lots of love, play and exercise.
