I had lived with a family of three adults dogs and four puppies. Daily routine: I wake up early in the morning and take out dogs outside. I clean the carpet with a carpet water vacuum if puppies made a mess. Due to not getting fleas on the puppies, I would take three adults dogs on a walk, and a bigger puppy. The other three pups were at home to stay. To be a good dog caregiver, you must be very intuitive. To make sure the doggy is hydrated is number 1. To be responsible and punctual when the doggy needs his medication.Or, the doggy is very happy if her tail is bouncing back and forth! Responsibility in dog's safety when crossing the busy streets because the doggy is very new to being off the leash. Unfortunately, I can't afford to have a pet or a cat so I really enjoy meeting new pets. I have pet sat puppies and they are all different little characters. I will be getting a dog in the future, of course. Overall, I enjoy pet sitting because a dog is a best friend, and a cat is a BFF! Exuberant puppies? Taking a walk and have your pet run around to release energy and get some fresh air is very important for pet's immune system, and some socializing with other pets if appropriate. Another thing, It is very critical an owner can trust a person in their house with taking care of their pet. I take it very seriously! I am guaranteed to be trustworthy to use house keys and leave them at the property in a certain place. The best thing is to hang it on my personal key chain with my house keys. I treat Rover just like any other job I have had before. It means I don't touch personal belongings except pet's food, bowls and a leash. Water may be used for pet. I bring my own food I have a special diet. I respect an owner because an owner gives me a privilege to take care of his or her pet. I heard stories people walking out on pets and not being there at all when a pet owner had an overnight stay paid. The indoor camera proved it. Some pets have a separation anxiety and might cry at night loudly. No such case with me. If you pay for house sitting and I am not at home because I am taking a walk with your pet.
