I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with Berenice who was supposed to sit for my pets while I was away out of state. Everything was confirmed in advance and she was to show around 5:30pm. I was out of state when I received a call from my building that some guy who said he was Berenice’s friend was there to walk my dog. When I spoke to the guy, he said Berenice was delayed at work. Berenice never communicated this to me. Instead, she sent someone I never met to enter my place and care for my pets. I refused him entry. I texted Berenice who took a long time to respond and when she did she said she couldn’t be there until 9pm. I told her had she communicated with me I could have tried to do something but it was too late in the day. Come 9pm, no Berenice. 10pm, no Berenice. My poor dog hadn’t been walked and my dog and cat hadn’t been fed. No prompt communication from Berenice in response to my texts. After she finally got back she just said that she felt bad but still no indication she was ever coming. I finally had to impose on my building’s doormen to walk and feed my pets that night and the next morning. I canceled with Berenice. It was extremely stressful and she showed no concern for my pets or the obligation she made. Completely irresponsible, selfish, and immature. Never again.

Berenice was great with out dog. Takes her to coffee with her and really pals around with her and this was a nearly 10-day stay. We are grateful to her for her attention and care.
