Pets always bring the best out of a household since there is no room for being bored. I haven't owned a dog since living back at home, but I've lived with the dogs of my roommates in college and always enjoyed watching them over the weekend. There's never a dull moment with a dog, whether it comes to playing tug of war inside or taking them to the dog park. I hope to provide entertainment for the owners dog which will do the same thing for me at the end of the day. Many people don't like to put up with pickup up after/ feeding dogs, but the joy from playing with them always makes it worth while for myself. I hope to always have the opportunity to care for a dog that doesn't have anywhere to go during any given day.

Bennett loves to play with all kinds of animals, and always wanted a pup growing up. Then after leaving for college was able to take care of a Boxer mix with his roommates for over two years! He has loved playing with dogs ever since, and would make a great Rover applicant. He is a very trustworthy and reliable person. When he was growing up I used to say he was like a sheep dog because he was always checking on his little brothers to make sure they were safe and didn’t get lost.
Bennett has been a dog lover his entire life and wanted nothing more than to have his own while growing up, but family pet allergies prevented that. Now that he’s on his own he has time to take care of dogs as he works toward having his own someday. Bennett is reliable, hard-working, and athletic so he can handle dogs big and small!
Bennett is very loving & sweet. He will play with your dog until they can’t play anymore! He is also very reliable, responsible and trustworthy.

I do not have any breed preferences, since I am a huge fan of learning more about different types of dogs. There are so many different kinds when including mutts, and as far as preferences go I would rather watch dogs that are older as opposed to younger. I think dogs older than one year have a better ability to make it on long walks/runs which is what I like to do the most.
A typical day
Some of the activities I look forward to doing with Rover dogs include most of the same things I do on a weekly basis. I live in the Bellevue part of Nashville, and am lucky to say I live much closer to the wilderness than downtown. With nice weather, I love going on runs at Percy Warner park which is a 5 minute drive from my apartment complex. It is a very large park, and full of people as well as other dogs. If the weather didn't match up for taking a dog there then theres always the dog park in my apartment complex which is located behind the gym.
