Pet care experience
Hello! I am a lifelong dog owner, walker, and sitter. I have been dog-sitting/walking for 18 years. I raised my beloved Rottweiler from 3 months old until she passed at age 12, so I have experience with puppies and senior dogs. I have administered insulin injections to dogs and cats, as well as oral and topical medications. I have worked with a range of temperaments and quirks. Most importantly, dogs bring me so much joy and taking care of them is fulfilling.

Bennett was amazing with our two Aussies. She communicated really well with us, quickly setting up a meet and greet within a few days right before our night away. She asked thorough questions, and took such great care of our pups and our home. We will definitely be booking her again soon!
Fred has stayed with Bennett multiple stays and every time he loves it!

I have a narrow, fenced, side-yard, and take walks in the neighborhood behind my home. If you and your pup approve, we can drive to the dog beach or other cool spots. My apartment is two stories, and there are about 5 steps to get into it from outside. I have large crate I can set up if needed. I take care of other’s pets like my own, with love and attention to their needs.

I want to know if they have any allergies, or medical conditions I should be aware of. I want to know how they get along with other dogs, people, and children, quirky behaviors and reactions I can expect, situations to avoid, etc. I also like to know their habits and routines, to keep them comfortable.
A typical day
Depending on each dog and owner’s preferences, of course. We will walk around the neighborhood, parks, and on local trails on weekends. Weekdays and raining days are mostly local walks. We enjoy Point Isabel, Aquatic Park, and Berkely Marina. We could take trips to Albany Bulb dog beach or a dog park. We would have playtime, pets and positive words of affirmation :D

Availability
I work from home 4 days/week with one day in the office. Right now I am in the office on Thursdays. I live with my sweet, patient dog named Donut. I take her on regular walks throughout the day, as well as weekly trips to dog parks, hiking trails, Aquatic Park, Point Isabel, Fort Funston, and more. I’d be happy to bring your pup on adventures, if they’re able.
