Hello, I’m Ben, and I have owned and fallen in love with pets since I was four years old! I understand that pets become members of the family, and their safety and well-being are of top priority. I am happy to offer dog walking, petsitting for cats and dogs, and general housesitting. I have adored being around pets my entire life. I have raised two cats, one golden retriever, various rodents (gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rats), two parakeets, and freshwater fish. I have experience with rescue animals, as both of the cats were feral when adopted and had no prior human socialization. With patience and care, they both grew to become gentle, affectionate pets. Our golden retriever, Chloe, was adopted at 8-weeks old, so I am comfortable with high-energy and playful puppies.

A typical day
Ultimately walks will be fulfilled to the owner’s request, but I am happy to take dogs to special parks and nature preserves at an additional fee. I am also happy to go on jogs with dogs! During house sitting, I will play with dogs and cats. Activities for dogs include tug-of-war, fetch, and puzzles with treats as a reward for solving them. Activities for cats will include laser poiner chasing, cat wand play, and fetch (if applicable), always allowing them to finish the play session with a solid toy to mimic the satisfaction of a successful hunt.
