Pet care experience
I have some professional experience such as, working as a kennel assistant at our local animal hospital for three years, as well as dog walking as a Pet Au Pair for a year. I have a TON of personal experience with animals. I currently have two dogs, a Sheepdog lab mix (Doc) and a Great Pyrenees- Hound mix (Patsy). We also have one cat (Emmylou). Aside from our usual daily walks to the dog park, we like to river walk, go to the coast, and lay around while we plan our next move. I have experience with reptiles, small pets (guinea pigs, rabbits) and of course cats and dogs. I work as a psychotherapist in Durham and my partner works as a PT at Duke. I will always send updates with a picture and will give them all the love they need. I am available most days after 530 and almost every weekend.

Chloe did so great with Benjamin! I had originally only booked 2 nights, but had unexpected travel changes and he graciously agreed to extend her stay. I loved the daily updates and pictures, and I was really impressed by his responsiveness to my questions. Will definitely rebook!!
Benjamin took wonderful care of our 8-month-old puppy, Ozlo. Ozlo and Benjamin's dog, Doc, played a lot in the backyard, and Benjamin took Ozlo to the dog park and hiking during his 24 hour stay. When we picked him up, we had a tired and happy guy! Would not hesitate to contact Benjamin again.
Ben's innate love for animals is apparent in all his interactions with my dogs. His passion for animals paired with his knowledge of them has been wonderful when he is with my two large, high energy dogs. He remains calm, lighthearted, fun, and professional. I know I can trust my fur babies with Ben.
