Dog Walker & Pet Sitter Hi. I am a post-grad educated artist originally from Massachusetts. I've been living close to Journal Square in Jersey City for a little over 3 years. While looking after a wide variety of animals throughout my life, I've become very sensitive to the unique personalities and care requirements of each individual pet. I absolutely love dogs and cats and have 6+ years experience as a professional dog walker. I offer dog walking, drop-in and overnight pet care at your home in the areas of Jersey City, Hoboken, Union City, Weehawken, Secaucus and other areas in and around Hudson County. Benjamin has been checking in on my small puppy twice a day for the past month, and we couldn't be happier! Benjamin is punctual, communicative, and Bjorn (our pup) loves him! He's not even sad when I leave in the morning because he knows Benjamin will be coming later. We get pictures and an update every time and it really gives me peace of mind. I'm glad we found him!
Ben was fantastic with Sammy, and I wouldn't hesitate to have him walk him again. He came by to meet our dog first, and Sammy warmed right up to him. Walked, fed, and administered medication as promised. Great experience!
Benjamin was a total 5-star pet sitter! I used Benjamin for my first ever rover booking and was very happy with my experience— if there was a bonus star for his patience while I figured out how to use the app properly, I’d give him that too. To start, he was very responsive! Benjamin and I scheduled a meet and greet prior to the dates for his drop in visits with my kitty, Penny. I was happy to meet him first and he was timely, friendly, and got along great with Penny. It was clear he has a love and understanding for animals. At the meet and greet I gave him instructions on penny’s needs and he was very attentive. While I was away I received updates every day with a cute picture of penny — Benjamin even put on TV for cats for Penny to enjoy after being bored alone all day! I really appreciated Benjamin’s thoughtfulness and would definitely book him for drop ins in the future.
Ben is my go-to guy for walking Bandit( Golden/Shepherd mix) when work won't let me go. Calm, professional, and personable Ben is one of the few people I feel comfortable leaving Bandit with now that he is getting up in years
