Pet care experience
I have had dogs my whole life, from beagles to greyhounds and everything in between. I am a very gentle owner and always take my time to try to understand what my animals need and want on a day to day basis to make their lives better. As far as real life experienced, I have handled dogs with many kinds of cancer and debilitating diseases as well as different kinds of infections of the ears, eyes, and nose as well as open wounds and such that they may get from being outside or playing. I was a military medic for 5yrs in the US Navy, so I understand and know how to treat most wounds, and give almost any kind of medical care if needed, whether it's giving injections or pills etc. I have two dogs and a rat currently and would love the opportunity to take care of your animals as it is a passion of mine and I can devote the time needed for their care. Also I know there are a lot of people with small pets that need someone to take care of them as well. I have owned rats for about 2yrs now, and have dealt with animals like ferrets, guinea pigs, and rabbits for the past decade. Ben has cared for my dogs since he was a young man. He has cared for puppies, mature, and senior dogs, including several who have had serious medical conditions. He demonstrates loving care and attention to the animal to ensure appropriate care and attention are given. He is responsible and reliable, and his military medic training enables him to calmly respond to minor emergencies that can arise with active or senior dogs. Ben takes care of Sawyer and Hazel everyday since I work grueling work hours. Sawyer is a bit high energy but Ben tends to him understanding is need for more excercise. Sawyer gets taken out on three walks that our long than my other dog Hazel since she is less active. He is attentive to keeping the animals hydrates, fed, clean and also is diligent about keeping walking areas clean. He has great experience with small, medium and large dogs. Your animal would be in great hands to have this guy take care of them while you are gone.

A typical day

If your animals need more exercise, I will take them out to our walking trails to get more outdoor time. Playtime at my house includes whatever the animal needs...running, walking, fetch, training or anything in between.
