Pet care experience
I'm currently a student working towards a Veterinary Technology degree at DTCC. I've worked with dogs and other animals since high school. Some of my work experience includes working at a Veterinary hospital, dog boarding business, pet store, and volunteer work such as Guiding Eyes for the Blind and Tristate Bird Rescue. Animals have always been my passion and while I got off track, I decided to go back to school and pursue a career with animals. I'm an active person so I have no issues with large or active dogs. I wouldn't mind taking your pets out on hikes, but I prefer to stick to what the animal is used to and comfortable with. I'm also comfortable with senior pets and special needs. Also, while my profile says I don't provide injections I can do insulin injections and care. I'm just not comfortable with intravenous yet. I hope to hear from you and your furry family members.

Benjamin is highly professional and clearly cares for the animals he sits for. I have two older cats that are medically a bit of a handful. He had a positive attitude and acceptance towards them in every interaction. I found this trait to be admirable. It isn't often you find someone so devoted to what they do that they are easy going even about the hard parts
Ben is excellent! My frenchie Hildie is my baby and I now have such peace of mind knowing that Ben gives her excellent care and attention during his visits while I’m at work. I could not be happier or more highly recommend him!
Benjamin was on-time and very kind with my mom's elderly Pomeranian. He truly cares about dogs. It's comforting to know that my mom's precious companion is in good hands.

I don't have preferences to dog types, sizes, or breeds all are welcome. I do like to know a little about them beforehand however. Things like their usual schedule beyond walks and feeding; such as their favorite toys/treats, where they like and are allowed sleep, and what level of activity they usually require. Nothing would be a deal breaker, I just like to have an idea beforehand.
A typical day
While I'm open to choosing play type and where to walk or play. Generally I like to stick with what what your pet's used to. I've found it helps them feel more comfortable, especially the first time. If they like to play ball, sounds good. Trips to the dog park, no problem. Tug of war, let's go. So just let me know their preferences.
