As an avid Austin Pets Alive! volunteer, I have been trained by the best dog experts in Austin to handle many types of dog behaviors, sizes and breeds. I truly believe it is the most rewarding work I have been apart of since I've lived in Texas. I fell in love with dogs at a young age growing up with a 100 lbs. yellow lab. Ever since, I have tried to incorporate dogs in my life anyway I can. In addition to watching friends' dogs while they are out of town, I have fostered multiple dogs from Austin Pets Alive! for a month at a time in some cases. I want to provide the most welcoming and happy environment that I can for any dog who's owner may be out of town or busy.

Ben was great! It was my first time leaving my 1yr old dog Murphy so I was really nervous, but from the moment I dropped him off with Ben I could tell they’d get along great. Ben was great with communicating each day, and seemed to do a great job of tiring out a big dog!
I was nervous to leave my anxious/high energy dog for the first time but Ben took awesome care of her and sent lots of updates. I would definitely recommend Ben (:
Ben was so patient and kind with bingo. I only recently adopted bingo and this was his first time with a sitter. He took him for walks and to the park. He sent cute photos and even slept on the couch when bingo was crying the first night. Will definitely use Ben again cause bingo and I love him!
My puppy, Chowder, had an awesome time!
