Pet care experience
Growing up I always had dogs around me in the family. Until recently we had our own dog - we rehomed him and it took a lot of dedicated training and socialising to turn him in to a happy loving dog! In recent years I became an expert in looking after a very old, nearly blind, nearly deaf, senile dog so can care for old dogs needs too.

Was very comfortable leaving Hana with Ben and his lovely family. Hana was instantly at home with her new surroundings. Was keep updated by Ben and it was obvious that Hana had been loved and taken care of very well when I collected her.
Ben and his family were great with our dog Merckx. Ben was very attentive to his needs and body language and I can see from the pictures my dog settled and had a fab time with lots of sniffy walks.
Carmie had at great time, thank you so much ?
Gabby had a great time with Ben and his family. She came back very relaxed. I highly recommend Ben to look after your pet!

We have an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, an ideal, large space for dogs. We are happy with your dog snuggling with us on the sofa. The garden is a great space for playing. We offer your dog a loving safe environment and experience in dealing with animals.

I will always want to do a one day/night trial before committing to a longer period of time looking after your dog. This ensures your dog is comfortable and happy here, is able to settle and fits in with our family set up. Let me know of any behavioural issues, medication, and how your dog is on and off lead plus your dog's routine during the day and at night. Please bring anything your dog needs to feel comfortable in the way of beds/toys/treats etc!
A typical day
I have both a large park and acres of Epping Forest on my doorstep to explore - no end of options for dog walking. A suitable home space and garden means your dog will be happy with us at home and out and about.

Availability
I currently freelance on a flexible basis and work from home, so am around as much as your dog needs. I would be the primary carer for your dog. (My wife also has a hybrid work set up so is home a lot of the time). We have two children in the house (age 5 and 8) who also love dogs and have grown up with a pet so are sensitive and caring with animals. It is essential for me that your dog is good with children. We have a lovely home suitable for animals with a large garden, and are a three minute walk from park/forest.
