I've had family dogs since I was very young and now I have a mixed-breed rescue dog of my own to look after, as well as my partner's family dog a few days a week. My partner Elly and I have given Fergus all his training since we got him and we have had Labradors and Cocker Spaniels growing up, so we know how to take care of both mixed-breed and pure-breed dogs. My partner and I are both lucky enough to work from home, so we have a lot of time with our dog every day and would make sure to provide the same for other dogs we look after. We have a fully fenced garden which also has direct access to a large playing field behind, where our dog Fergus loves to run and play with his friends. We have a large downstairs living/dining space and this is where Fergus and Noah (when he comes to stay) spend most of their time lounging around while we are working.
