I worked at a sanctuary where I helped care for tigers, lions, leopards, and other cats as well as two lemurs. A lot of the job was keeping their enclosures clean. Other than that, I fed the cats, directed them to different parts of their enclosures, assisted in the preperation of their meals and medicine, assisted in minor veterinary procedures, and kept an eye on their overall well-being day by day. I have three cats of my own that I adore. I also have experience with giving my grandparent's dog her insulin shot. I am pursuing a career in animal care, so caring for your pets is right up my alley.
